visit to the Fab Four

Liverpool is a vibrant city with many famous people associated with it, but ask almost anyone in the world who the associate with that fine city and the answer will almost certainly come back - "The Beatles."  On Liverpool at the Pier Head among the new museums and buildings lie the city's Three Graces - buildings significant enough to be grouped as a World Heritage Site.  They are, of course the Liver Building topped with its Liver Birds, the Cunard Building originally home to Cunard Shipping line and the Port of Liverpool Building, headquarters of the huge dock complex that once channeled goods and people in huge numbers.

Between the Cunard Building and the Pier Head itself is a larger thank life group of bronzes portraying John, Paul, George and Ringo in their early pomp. It's a magnet for Day Trippers and an obvious candidate for my repeat images.
