Repeat Images
I think about photography as theft. By capturing an image I feel that I am stealing a slice of the space time continuum. It will never repeat but can be endlessly viewed. The digital image becomes a permanently frozen record much more reliable than our slowly changing and decaying memory.
With these galleries I've stayed in one place for a short time capturing multiple versions of what may, at first glance, be a static scene. Some of the sequences are short and some more comprehensive, but all images were taken within a relatively short time to capture the ebb and flow of life in a chosen location

South Bank
Outside a Pub at Waterloo a plastic cow stands alone and ignored. Close by, on the South Bank of the Thames a carousel is reflected on a glass wall.
These were my first conscious repeat images.
V&A Courtyard
In autumn 2018 the Victoria and Albert Museum held a Frida Kahlo exhibition and in the courtyard was a steel statue that people could see and touch. I took these images in 10 minutes.
Regent's Park
The Triton Fountain in Regent's Park London is at an intersection of paths. I stood in one place for just over 9 minutes capturing an image on average every 30 seconds.
